Mixtape Giveaway!!!

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a winner in the Fresh Modern Quilts giveaway last week. It sometimes feels like I am the most unlucky person alive, because I NEVER win anything. For giveaway day, I entered so many drawings...dozens really...and I didn't win any of them! Needless to say, I was thrilled, THRILLED, to see that loosing trend change.

Elizabeth from Oh Fransson sent me a copy of her Mixtape pattern. I however, being the avid fan that I am, had already purchased the pattern when it first came out. I've been a bit slow getting it together, but I'm loving the way it's looking so far. I'm using mostly Surf and Sand fabric that I bought over winter break when I was shopping with my mother. I also threw in some coordinating fabrics from her stash that she was kind enough to give me.

So anyways, since I don't really need two copies of the pattern, I emailed Elizabeth for permission to do a giveaway and spread the love around. She said that was fine with her, and she also sent me a copy of her wristlet pattern! How nice is that!!

So, for your chance to win a copy of the amazing Mixtape pattern, comment here. Just to make it a bit more interesting, tell me what fabric you would use with the pattern. If you post about this on your blog, leave a second comment with the link for two chances to win!!! I'll leave the giveaway open until this Friday at noon EST. I'll pick a winner then and email the pdf on!

Hey - thanks for the chance to win. I entered the first time around and didn't make it. I'm overloaded with scraps and fabric odds and ends so if I were to make this pattern it would be scrappy!

Wow, thanks for being so generous! I'd probably go with bright solids, and maybe polka dots for the sashing just to mix it up. I never win anything either, maybe this is it!

I have some Wildwood FQs that I don't have plans for... and I think I'm gonna cave soon and buy some Summer Soiree...

I, like so many others, did not win the first time around. I'm hoping my luck changes. I would use either some of my Amy Butler daisy chain, or some Heather Ross from my stash. My daughter has a request in for a quilt made with either one (or both). Thanks for the second chance.

I've been wanting to make an orange and aqua quilt so I'd probably pull from my stash. Or maybe Moda's Sorbet line...Hmmmm...

How nice to you to give this away! I think I like Chen's idea of aqua and orange. Then again, maybe I'd use some of Mendocino line in it.

Oops, forgot to tell you that I am definitely a pastel girl, so I am thinking pretty pinks, purples, greens and blues.

How nice of you to share the love!!! I would love to win! I'm in stash shopper mode right now, so that's where I'd look first. I have a great mix of some Kaffes that might work...

Thanks for such a great give away. I've been meaning to purchase Mixtape since it came out but have been too distracted with WIPs that I need to finish and told myself I couldn't buy anymore supplies until I finish at least 3. If I win I have a set of 1930s reproductions that would be just perfect for this quilt. Thanks for the opportunity!
